Helle Timm is the leader of the Palliative Knowledge Centre (PAVI). She is responsible for professional, financial and personnel leadership of the centre.

One of her primary tasks involves promoting coordination, dialogue and cooperation with and between the authorities, key organisations, working groups and individuals regarding the national, regional and countywide development of palliative care initiatives.

She is also responsible for implementing the strategy and action plans approved by PAVI’s Board of Directors including financing as well as the implementation and completion of various projects.

Helle has an MA in cultural sociology and a Ph.D in health science as well as many years of experience with sector research regarding public health administration and palliative care in particular.
